About the project

The Okhangaron Reservoir is located 21 km from the city of Angren in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. The reservoir serves irrigation and hydro-technical purposes. The dam is 1500 meters long, 100 meters high, and has a water capacity of 260 million cubic meters

At the Okhangaron Reservoir, monitoring of existing control measurement devices has been carried out manually. Our project aims to fully automate this system, removing the human factor. It includes monitoring of pressure and non-pressure piezometers, identification of filtrate water (drainage), hydro posts, and meteorological stations. Currently, this system operates with high accuracy, delivering data to the user.

In the digitization of the reservoir's control measurement devices, the following equipment was utilized: vibrating sensors for measuring water pressure in piezometers, vibrating sensors for measuring water depth in non-pressure piezometers; turbidity sensors for measuring the flow of filtrate water (drainage) and vibrating sensors for water level measurement. Hydro posts are equipped with ultrasonic flow meters and water level sensors, as well as barometers for measuring atmospheric pressure and temperature sensors. Data from these sensors is collected and transmitted using devices such as Datalogger and Multiplexer.
